Release history

What changed, version by version.

Four independently released products. Published versions come from npm, PyPI and immutable Skills tags—not from a source version bump.

Registry history checked . These are reviewed summaries, not exhaustive commit logs. Missing historical detail is stated rather than invented. Prereleases remain in the linked registries.

Upgrade the compatible set, not just a number.

CLI 0.2.11 declares Ledger 0.4.0 and Benchmark 0.2.1 exactly, plus Skills ^2.1.1. Installing the CLI does not replace existing skills. Preserve customized instructions and historical run evidence.

YYLO CLI · stable 0.2.11

YYLO CLI releases

Release registry · Current documentation

v0.2.11 · Current stable

  • Coordinates Benchmark 0.2.1 and Skills ^2.1.1 for checklist evaluation; retains the exact Ledger 0.4.0 requirement.
  • Fresh Simple initialization installs skills by default, with --no-skills as an explicit opt-out.

Published version · Source / release evidence

v0.2.8

  • Moves autonomous task implementation outside the CLI: agents implement, test and commit; finish verifies delivery.
  • Watch becomes an optional read-only observer. Adds release-bound Ledger wiki guidance, scoped task hydration and Record references in prompts.

Published version · Source / release evidence

v0.2.5

  • Terminates controller-generation refusals cleanly rather than continuing with incompatible runtime state.
  • Carries compatible skill upgrades that preserve customized local copies and bounded runtime authentication.

Published version · Source / release evidence

v0.2.3

  • Introduces the native Git delivery surface with separate Ledger projection recovery.
  • Adds deterministic machine output, authenticated controller-generation adoption and Ledger 0.3.1 compatibility.

Published version · Source / release evidence

v0.2.2

  • Stable baseline for bounded coding-agent workflows, managed scripts and independent Ledger/Benchmark delegation.
  • Uses the earlier merge-queue lifecycle; do not apply current native-delivery instructions to this version.

Published version · Source / release evidence

v0.2.0

  • Initial stable YYLO 0.2 release baseline for agent orchestration and task/workflow tooling.
  • Historical release: use its own command help and source rather than assuming compatibility with current lifecycle documentation.

YYLO Ledger · stable 0.4.0

YYLO Ledger releases

Release registry · Current documentation

v0.4.0 · Current stable

  • Universal get/show resolves tasks, documents and artifacts without guessing their kind; bounded --content retrieves local/inline bytes.
  • New IDs use task_, doc_ and artifact_ prefixes; existing identities remain valid.
  • Collection JSON emits one tasks-and-summary object, including empty results.

Published version · Source / release evidence

v0.3.1

  • Stable native Record baseline for tasks, wiki, workflows and artifacts, with retained history and read-only local hosting.
  • Provides preservation-first migration and explicit archive operations; storage and workflow execution remain separate.

Published version · Source / release evidence

v0.2.0

  • Historical Git-native task-management baseline: statuses, dependency-aware work, responses and commit evidence.
  • Native Record and universal retrieval instructions on this site target later versions.

Published version · Source / release evidence

YYLO Benchmark · stable 0.2.1

YYLO Benchmark releases

Release registry · Current documentation

v0.2.1 · Current stable

  • Adds frozen project/task criteria and evidence-backed pass/fail/unknown judgments.
  • The runner computes loss = failed / total. Unknown evidence or evaluator errors produce null loss, not a guessed score.
  • Later checklist revisions create separate evaluations; reporting exposes criteria/evaluator identities and comparability.
  • Checklist skills and examples are distributed by yylo-skills 2.1.1, not bundled in the npm runtime.

Published version · Source / release evidence

v0.2.0

  • Breaking thin-runner redesign: case draft/create, run, evaluate, report and append-only disqualify replace the old governed lifecycle.
  • Supports independent task attempts and workflow prefixes, with later checks/judges over retained output and no candidate reruns.
  • Old v1/v2 evidence is not migrated or reinterpreted. Trusted-host hygiene is not an enforced sandbox.

Published version · Source / release evidence

v0.1.3

  • Standalone patch release of the pre-thin-runner implementation.
  • The source release commit advances the package version; no separate behavioral change is asserted here. The 0.2.0 transition supersedes this lifecycle.

Published version · Source / release evidence

v0.1.2

  • Patch release of the pre-thin-runner package, published alongside CLI 0.2.8.
  • Retains historical governed-workflow semantics. Detailed behavioral release notes were not supplied; this page does not infer a change from the version bump.

Published version · Source / release evidence

v0.1.1

  • Publishes the pre-thin-runner governed workflow CLI and retained evaluation lifecycle with CLI 0.2.3.
  • Historical plan/recover/regrade/rejudge commands are not current 0.2.x instructions.

Published version · Source / release evidence

v0.1.0

  • Initial stable Benchmark package for retained coding-agent evaluation evidence.
  • Historical study evidence belongs to its pinned implementation; it is not a ranking or certification of the current runner.

YYLO Skills · stable 2.1.1

YYLO Skills releases

Release registry · Current documentation

v2.1.1 · Current stable

Immutable tag; publication date not asserted

  • Adds frozen project/task checklists, evidence-based judgments, deterministic loss guidance and reusable examples to benchmark-yylo.
  • Coordinates with CLI 0.2.11 and Benchmark 0.2.1; no separate checklist skill is introduced.

Published version · Source / release evidence

v2.1.0

Immutable tag; publication date not asserted

  • Updates benchmark-yylo for Benchmark 0.2.0's thin runner, independent evaluation and workflow-prefix comparisons.
  • Clarifies trusted-host limits without claiming a sandbox or mandatory pilot ceremony.

Published version · Source / release evidence

v2.0.4

Immutable tag; publication date not asserted

  • Adds benchmark-yylo, completing the eight-skill catalog required by CLI 0.2.9.
  • Its original study guidance is superseded by the 2.1.x thin-runner instructions.

Published version · Source / release evidence

v2.0.3

Immutable tag; publication date not asserted

  • Requires user-facing Record results to report the actual kind/profile, immutable ID and Ledger-returned slug.
  • Documents universal retrieval and bounded content reads; missing fields must never be invented.

Published version · Source / release evidence

v2.0.2

Immutable tag; publication date not asserted

  • Clarifies optional preflight, finish-enforced admission and explicit tests/reviews outside native merge.
  • Documents merge status/land/project and projection recovery.

Published version · Source / release evidence

v2.0.1

Immutable tag; publication date not asserted

  • Refines artifact evidence, PDR planning and single-task implementation contracts across the canonical skills.
  • Keeps operational plans in durable Ledger artifacts instead of product documentation.

Published version · Source / release evidence

v2.0.0

Immutable tag; publication date not asserted

  • Introduces user-intent-first skill names ending in -yylo and grouped discovery.
  • Provides canonical cross-agent procedures for Records, project understanding, planning and bounded task delivery.

Published version · Source / release evidence

v1.0.0

Immutable tag; publication date not asserted

  • Initial independently versioned canonical YYLO skills release.
  • Legacy names and installation guidance are historical; use current compatibility rules when upgrading.

Source changes and historical research

Unpublished commits belong to their source repositories until a registry or immutable tag establishes publication. A published version does not prove every capability: the documentation retains exact artifact evidence for reviewed claims.

Benchmark transition notes and earlier studies keep their original evidence dates. Later package releases do not rewrite their findings.
